Have you heard of Eliza Doolittle? The new darling of British pop is only 22 years old and is releasing her debut album self-titled. She had a chat with Glamurama last Saturday in Sao Paulo. "I used to sing to my friends at school, so that they’d give me tips of what I was doing right. At age 16 I recorded some songs and sent out to some relatives. I’ve always wanted to be independent," she says.
* Eliza comes from a family of artists, began singing at age 12 and writes her own songs. And despite her brief stay in Brazil, the cutie made a point to learn a little bit about our music: "I was shown the work of Tulipa Ruiz. I thought it was amazing! I really want her CD."
* She was so friendly and charming that she ended up being invited to star some campaigns. But no modeling, no. "My priority is music. However, it’s always good to try other things to grow professionally." It is worth getting to know her!
