It’s the end of an era. The Catalan restaurant El Bulli, from chef Ferran Adrià, considered the best in the world, closed its doors on Saturday with a special dinner for guests. Some of the guests were chefs who had worked at the establishment and are now in the top 10 of the prestigious British magazine "Restaurant": Rene Redzepi of Noma in Copenhagen, Joan Roca,of El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, Andoni Luis Aduriz, of Mugaritz in Errenteria, Spain, Massimo Bottura, of Osteria Franciscana, in Modena, Italy and Grant Achatz of Alinea in Chicago.

* But Adrià doesn’t intend to stop. His restaurant will be transformed into a foundation that should open its doors in 2014.
