I was happy to see that the police, with much effort, are pacifying these areas." * "I was very touched by the contrast between the slums and richness of Rio. I would’ve liked to have helped more. Denmark has a culture of environmental education, energy saving. Brazil needs a little help in this area." In time, Marie left Rio on Thursday, heading to the Amazon.
