This Saturday’s big attraction at the BMW Jazz Festival, Sharon Jones, together with The Dap-Kings – the group that recorded Amy Winehouse’s album “Black to Black” – emerged on stage at the Ibirapuera Auditorium a few minutes after midnight . Before Miss Jones’ appearance, the band asked everyone to rise, and when she came in, it soon became clear she’s known as a hurricane. She started with the ballad "If You Call", and the night, which was already hot, caught fire! Sharon not only sang, but danced a lot and even took off the new shoes she bought in Oscar Freire, on Friday.
* Extremely friendly, she kept interacting with the audience. In "Give It Back", she called a boy from the audience and sang cheek to cheek with him. And we have to mention the great "Mamma Don’t Like My Man," one of the highlights of the show, which ended at 2am.
