Chico Buarque’s girlfriend, Thais Gulin, who’s doing a concert Thursday at Tom Jazz, in São Paulo, revealed to Glamurama the music she’s been listening to these days: a box of CDs by Bahian composer Dorival Caymmi, called “Amor e Mar” .
* "I still haven’t managed to get passed the beach songs. They are on repeat. I love that idea of looking at the waves come and go, come and go … It perfectly matches the timing of the world, the speed of life," she said.
* In the concert, in addition to well-known songs, she sings two new ones: one by Chico, “Se Eu Soubesse”, and another by Tom Ze, “Ali Sim, Alice." The show launches the singer’s second album, called “ôÔÔôôÔôÔ".
