His career took off when Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue U.S. added him to “The September Issue” and he gained her unconditional support . Michelle Obama wore a dress designed by him on the cover of the same publication, in March 2009, and traveled the world with his creations in her suitcase.
* Wu was invited by Melissa to create two models of shoes to be launched on Tuesday at a party at Oscar Freire Street. In a chat with Glamurama at Alex Atala’s restaurant Dalva e Dito, Wu revealed that the visit to Brazil has yielded other businesses: he had a meeting with Natalie Klein, from NK Store, who will start selling his creations in her store next year.
