On Tuesday, Egyptian designer Karim Rashid will give a lecture at the 43rd House & Gift Fair at Expo Center Norte, in Sao Paulo. He is considered one of the biggest names in modern design and has won dozens of awards, such as Best Retail Store and I.D. Magazine’s Annual Design Review 2003. His creations discuss, generally speaking, the coexistence and the mentality of the 21st century, giving priority to a human society and seeking to facilitate people’s everyday lives.
