Paco Rabanne, which had been out of the fashion scene since 2006 when the designer took part in a fashion week for the last time, is planning a heck of a comeback. The brand has just announced that it’s going to return to Paris Fashion Week in October 2011, to present the maison’s spring/summer 2012 collection.
* And to shake things up, Puig Beauty and Fashion Group, owner of the brand, has hired Indian designer Manish Arora as the new creative director of women’s wear. And Arora has already put the word out that he intends to bring many innovations, including partnerships with other designers. And FYI, Manish is still participating of Paris Fashion Week with his own brand. From now on, he’s going to be in charge of both projects in parallel.
