In Rio for a year, where she’s been working for Animale, designer Priscilla Darolt – originally from Curitiba – thinks the city is already influencing her work, even if indirectly. "My last collection was inspired by the beaches in the Southern France. Okay, that’s not in Brazil, but there’s a Rio vibe, the thing of the sea," said the girl, in a chat with Glamurama. A place in Rio she also finds inspiring is the old town of Santa Teresa, "I love it."
* Besides the atmosphere and landscape of Rio, the designer also finds inspiration in music, movies, images, travel and people. "I designed a whole collection inspired on a song by Josephine Baker. Frank Sinatra has also inspired me," she said. Today she begins preparing for winter collection. Good things are underway!
