An army of fashionistas arrived in the early hours at Club Glória on Wednesday. The reason? A party to celebrate Cavalera’s show at SPFW, with androgynous top Andrej Pejic doing a DJ set. He is in town for some shows in Sao Paulo fashion week.
* Many people went straight from the Biennale – sometimes with a strategic update on the look – but the party really started filling up around midnight. Alberto Hiar, creative diWalério Araújo, Kléber Matheus, Bryan Boy and Breno Votto were some of the cool people who stopped by.
* But the night only really came aline with the arrival of Andrej. Surrounded by cameras and groupies, the model, who was wearing a look of black leather with fringe and puffed sleeves, spoke to Glamurama. "I’ve never played before, so I’m anxious," he said. In the pick-ups, he did great with pop bands – Britney and Lady Gaga abounded – and hits from the 1980s. We recorded everything very closely … Check it out:
