In the fall-winter 2010 collection, inspired by divas of the 1950s, a piece stood out on the Louis Vuitton’s catwalk. Speedy Couture, custom made only and only in Vuitton’s studio in Paris, is made of a very special kind of leather, the Cuir Orfèver – goldsmith in French – the most natural leather the brand’s ever employed.
* The production process is rigorous, like a jewel. No wonder you can only order it in 12 stores around the world, and yes, the Iguatemi branch is one of them – the only one in Latin America. But don’t get too excited, it takes about nine months to arrive … Is it worth the wait?
