"It’s an air shuttle between Augusta Street and Vieira Souto Avenue." This is how Ale Youssef describes his Studio RJ, which opened in Arpoador – facing the sea – and which is patterned after the success of Studio SP, here in São Paulo. The opening party was on Tuesday, only to guests. Friends like Caetano Veloso, Deborah Bloch, and Ale’s, Leandra Leal, were among those who stopped by.
* Everybody wanted a shot at the stage and there were wonderful jam sessions on the house’s first night. Thaís Gulin, Tiê, Cibelle, Nina Becker, Sérgio Loroza and Simoninha, among others, sang for a very enthusiastic crowd! Talk about starting off on the right foot!
