After spending more than $ 30 million, it looks like the History Channel will get rid of the fiasco that is the series "The Kennedys." It was announced on Sunday that Stan Hubbard, CEO of ReelzChannel, bought the rights of the production – amazingly enough – for US $ 5 million. The news was published by Page Six, in the New York Post, which reported that this was the way the channel found for coping with the sponsors pulling out.

The fear of the sponsors reportedly is related to public reaction to the Kennedy family and all the political force that the series presents.
