Renowned architect Frank Gehry, the name behind such works as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, is staking his claim in New York. His latest project, "New York by Gehry,” is a residential building of impressive numbers. There are 76 floors – making it the tallest residential building in the West – 903 apartments with 200 different layouts.

* Located in City Hall Park, near the Brooklyn Bridge, the building’s facade is completely covered with corrugated stainless steel that reflects the changing light, changing the appearance of the building throughout the day. The price to live in a work of art? The rent of the studios starts at US$ 2,630, one-bedroom apartments go for $ 3580 and two bedrooms cost US$ 5945 per month. It seems reasonable, doesn’t it?
