After losing the first place on the list of the fashion capitals to Milan, last year, New York was again elected the most fashion city in the world. According to a research done by Global Language Monitor – an American company that monitors the frequency of specific words and sentences produced by the media, the city’s influence in the fashion market is absolutely out of question.
* The Top 10 fashion cities are: Hong Kong, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Milan, Sydney, Miami, Barcelona and Madrid. Brazil is well represented by São Paulo in 13th position, four positions ahead last year’s result. While Rio de Janeiro went down from the 18th to the 19th rank, only one position ahead Moscow, the last one of the ranking.
