The Dutch duo Lernert & Sander joined the British retailer Selfridges to transform some of the most mundane household utensils in objects of art, inspired by the fashion world. What seems to be an oversized Chanel clog, for example, is actually a dishwasher built into the body of the shoe.
* Other pieces that caught our attention are the vacuum that seems like shoes from the penultimate season of Alexander McQueen, sewing machines that follow the characteristics of a pair of Yves Saint Laurent shoes and two flat irons transformed into black stilettos by Stella McCartney.
