After straight as a board hair, now “wavy” is all the rage in hair style. Or so says The New York Times in a very good natured article. It talks about how curls are back, since names such as the Olsen Twins, Gisele Bündchen, Drew Barrymore and Anne Hathaway have graced magazines sporting waves.
* According to the publication, trendy women are asking for the bohemian beach waves style in the major salons in New York. And they always ask: is there a more comfortable and practical way of making curls? The newspaper heard from experts and it seems that a good old perm is the solution. We don’t need to tell you that perms were extremely popular in the 1980s, do we? But the costumers resist referring to the treatment as a perm. Oh, scary…
