Glamurama was at amfAR gala dinner, which honored Francisco Costa, on Thursday evening and was pleased to see everybody’s concern with the cause – research for a cure for AIDS – and with impeccable looks.
* One of the first to walk the red carpet was Daniela Cutait, who hosted a dinner the day before for Francisco, and of course, chose a dress from Calvin Klein Collection, the most worn brand among the guests. Izabel Goulart arrived wearing a new Givenchy, sent by the Riccardo Tisci. FYIt: the piece came just three hours before the event . The reason for such a privilege? Izabel is one of Riccardo’s Brazilian darlings and has even modeled for Givenchy. * Gloria Coelho also arrived in style, wearing her own brand, just as Reinaldo Lourenço. Alessandra Ambrosio was very charming in a long strapless Calvin Klein with leather details. Lorenzo Martone’s bow tie made from strips of leather caused a buzz. The explanation? "It was done to match Alessandra’s dress," quipped Lorenzo, who accompanied Alessandra. Issa’s Daniella Helayel, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the wedding of her friend Kate Middleton in London and arrived with Ana Paula Junqueira. And she didn’t say a word about the most anticipated ceremony of the year!
* Isabeli Fontana was a sight for sore eyes with a beautiful draped yellow Dolce & Gabbana. Gorgeous! Cool as a cucumber, Giovanni Bianc told us he chose a Dior suit he had in the closet for six years, but admitted to not being a big fan of ties… After him, in came Ana Beatriz Barros, accompanied by Matheus Mazzafera, and Erika Mares Guia, designer of M&Guia, who signed the top model’s dress.
* And if the red carpet was hot, the gala itself was boiling! Preta Gil gave a different, more intimate pocket show, and American singer Jennifer Hudson, who chose a gold Calvin Klein to perform, said she "definitely wants to return to Brazil." Who also stopped by? Bethy Lagardère, Carlinhos Jereissati, Marcos Proença, Fernanda Barbosa, Johanna and Alexandre Birman, Mariana Weickert and Sabrina Sato, both wearing André Lima, Dimitri Mussard, Rico Mansur, Raquel Silveira among many others.
