The premiere of Charly Braun’s "Beyond the Road", on Monday, at Cidade Jardim shopping mall, was very moving. After the screening, stars and glamurettes alike praised the production, a road movie that takes place in Uruguay. "It’s been a while since I’ve seen something so profound, beautiful and delicate," said actress Arieta Correa, a former girlfriend of Charly, in tears.
* Another one who thought that the story was thrilling was businessman Luiz Oswaldo Pastore, the movie’s associate producer, who saw the film for the first time: "It tell the whole story of these boys in color and music," he said. The boys in question are Charly and his brothers – Raphael, Peter and Guilhermina Guinle, all attending the event – who used to spend vacations in Uruguay. In fact, Guilhermina, who wore a pair of Lilly Sarti pants and a top 011, was beaming.
* Director Hector Babenco, reserved as always, said he enjoyed the production "very much." "It’s a privilege to see a great film made by a new director," he said. He talked excitedly with Argentinian actor Esteban Feune de Colombi, protagonist of the film, who is more a writer and photographer than an actor, but who also did great on the big screen.
* Milu Villela, Mariângela Bordon, Paulus Magnus, Ana Joma, Luiz Frias, Attilio Baschera, Gregorio Kramer, Caco Ciocler and Marina Previato, Fabiana Pastore, Camila Espinosa and Laura Neiva, among others also attended the event.
