The Baselworld fair, which annually brings together the top names in jewelry and watchmaking world to Basel, Switzerland, is known to introduce participants to lavish jewels. This year, however, it seems that the focus has shifted a bit, and the main houses in the business have decided to to bet on watches, which have come in the most unusual shapes, sucha as Chopard’s owl or Boucheron’s gem kaleidoscope. All pieces, of course, with lots and lots of carats. Whose wrist can hold one of these?
