Robert Downey Jr. is sober today. Still, he doesn’t forget the struggle he faced to win his heavy drugs and alcohol addiction. "Being clean for five or six years is a lifetime" the actor said in an interview for the November issue of Playboy.
* Robert said he still has strong memories of the life he led, and that sometimes he feels like "a war veteran struggling to talk with people who haven’t had the same experience." Now he relies on discipline to stay clean: "It’s not just a matter of self respect, but out of respect for others and the lives of those who love you."
* The star of "Iron Man" has a 17 years old son, Indio, and has been married for five with producer Susan Levin. He returns to the big screen with the film "Due Date", opening next month in the United States.
