There’s no denying that 2010 was Mark Zuckerberg’s year. He became one of the richest men in the world, his story was turned into a Hollywood blockbuster and Facebook reached the impressive mark of 500 million users. And he’s not even 27!
* To crown the achievement, Mark has just been chosen Time magazine’s 2010 Person of the Year. According to the magazine, we now live in the "Facebook age" and in less than seven years, the social network managed to become an entity that is twice the size of the United States.
* It is interesting that, despite having been elected by the jury of Times, the creator of Facebook is not a unanimity. According to an online survey conducted by the magazine, the public voted Julian Assange, responsible for Wikileaks, as man of the year. It goes to show how important the internet is nowadays.
