With the authority of someone who has photographed some of the most famous and powerful women on the planet, Mario Testino revelead during an interview for The Telegraph his opinion about two of the biggest mavericks in the fashion industry: Kate Moss and Anna Wintour. The first, who inspired Testino’s current exhibition "Kate Who?" at Phillips de Pury & Co’s London headquarters, is, according to his words, "a freak".
* "I go to events with her and I am, like, what’s the matter with you? And she is, like, shaking, nervous", said Testino. As for the almighty editor-in-chief of American Vogue, the photographer swears that her so called coldness is actually pure shyness. So they are both powerful, demanding and shy. Such a strange combination that makes it actually difficult to believe it is true.
