Stella McCartney was called by Adidas to design the uniform of the British team for the London Olympics, held in 2012. She sure has the know-how for the task: since 2005 the designer has developed a line of sportswear for the brand, with a hint of fashion, technological fabrics, clean lines and muted colors.
* According to Rolf Reinschmidt, vice president of the company, Stella will take care of uniforms for competitions as well as the clothes the athletes wear during their free time in the Olympic Village. Fancy, isn’t it?
