Mick Jagger, one of the greatest rockers of all times, is the newest producer of HBO. Rolling Stone’s leader signed a contract with the TV network to produce a series that, for now, has the title of “History of Music”. Also involved in the project are, the director, Martin Scorsese, who spent a lot of time with Jagger during the shootings of the documentary “Shine a Light”, and the screenwriter of “The Sopranos”, Terence Winter.
* With arguments from Jagger himself, the series will show the ups and downs of two people in the music industry that have a relationship for more than forty years.
Many Hollywood Studios, including Disney, turned down the rockers idea to produce the series. HBO was the only one interested.
* Now let´s hope that the “Jagger curse” does not affect the television plans of the eternal rolling stone.
