Taking advantage of the holiday season, Glamurama, who has been traveling through the French islands of St. Maarten and St. Barths in the Caribbean, has some cool tips for Brazilians who will land here for New Year’s Eve!
* Even though St. Barths is the final destination for most people, it is worth spending a couple days in St. Maarten before heading to the trendiest island around.
* St. Maarten, much bigger than its neighbor, has incredible places to sightsee and plenty to do. The liveliest beach is Orient Bay – with bars by the sand, lots of loud music, champagne, and dancing on the tables – we are in the Caribbean after all.
* The nicest – and far more peaceful – beach is Rapel, an islet only 5 euros away from downtown. Renting a boat is undoubtedly the best option, since there is a much to see and a lot of sea to swim in. We’ll give tips on St. Barths later.
