After a nearly seven-hour trial on Wednesday, John Galliano will have to wait until Sept. 8 to hear the verdict on the charges of anti-Semitism that weigh on him. If convicted, the designer will have to pay a fine of 22,500 euros, in addition to having to comply with a penalty that could reach six months in prison.

* Meanwhile, the future of the former creative director of Dior is still uncertain. Most fashionistas believe his career is over, but still there are those who bet on a return. In London, for example, there’s the rumor that Galliano continues to work on Kate Moss’s wedding dress to musician Jamie Hince. The newspaper "The Telegraph" went on to publish an article stating that Galliano’s studio is using the workspace of "a great stylist in New York" and that he continues drawing.

* Kate and Galliano are longtime friends, and the supermodel had already declared that he would be selected to design her wedding dress – but that was before the controversy in the Marais. Anyway, as we said in April, Galliano will not be needing money anytime soon.
