On Friday happened in New York the last editions of Fashion’s Night Out and Glamurama selected the best attractions of the night for those who were in town.
* Tommy Hilfiger, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his brand, made a real party at Macy’s in Herald Square. Tommy himself and Lundgren, CEO of Macy’s, welcomed the band Train and the whole cast of the winter 2010 campaign, The Hilfigers.
* At Chanel, as we had anticipated, happened the launch of the new nail polish collection – specially created for the occasion – and the customization of flats. Meanwhile, at Balenciaga, the artist Cindy Sherman showed her most recent work. Barneys held a giant ping-pong tournament with guests as Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright among others.
* Also at Barneys, the Olsen twins, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler, judged a karaoke contest. Brazil was neatly represented by Alexandre Birman and Fernanda Motta, who competed on a karaoke contest. We’re out of breath!
