Al Pacino is going directly from Central Park… to Broadway. The play "The Merchant of Venice" was in the Public Theater, in Central Park, during the Shakespeare in the Park festival this summer, but now is heading to Broadhurst Theater starting 19th October. The cast will be almost the same and the season goes on until January 9th.

* After facing rain on a stage of 24 feet in diameter, the adaptation for a smaller indoor theater won’t be necessarily difficult for the actors. But According to the Director Daniel Sullivan many changes will be done.

* Reminding that Al Pacino has also interpreted character Shylock on the big screen, in 2004, and the tickets are already on sale.
