South by Southwest, or just SXSW, is a festival that combines music, movies and technology in the city of Austin, In Texas, in the United States. This year’s edition featured an eclectic line up: The Strokes, the rapper B.o.B, new sensation Janelle Monae, DJ Moby, and the band Queens of the Stone Age. Jack White, who was in the audience, got in the mood and gave an impromptu performance on one of the stages. It doesn’t get much better than that.
* The festival also hosted the world premiere of the movie "The Beaver", which marks the return of Sharon Stone and Mel Gibson to the big screen. Stone was also responsible for the direction, by the way, and has been well received by critics. Curious to say the least, isn’t it?
