Not surprisingly, Bill Gates held the top spot for the 18th consecutive year, with a fortune of US$ 59 billion. But Brazilian Eduardo Saverin, who is now an American citizen and lives in Singapore, appears in the rankings with a net worth of US$ 2 billion, thanks to a 5% stake he holds on Facebook.
* Speaking of the social networking site, Mark Zuckerberg was the billionaire who made money in the last twelve months – US$ 10.6 billion, to be exact, totaling a personal fortune of US$ 17.5 billion.
* "Forbes" also estimated the personal wealth of those who, in the near future, could join the select club of ten digits, including the rapper P. Diddy, who is already halfway there, with a fortune estimated at U.S. $ 500 million, and director Michael Bay, with $ 410 million.
