After a long stretch in the Brazilian summer, when she gave many concerts in Rio and Trancoso, Bebel Gilberto is back in New York. And back to work.
* This Thursday she goes onstage at Lincoln Center, to perform in the series American Songbook. At the Lincoln Center’s website, Bebel is called “the crown princess of bossa nova” and her concert was recommended by all the main specialized sites.
* Bebel twittered that she’s going to try and stream broadcast the performance live. Let’s hope she manages it!
