Designers and friends from Alexander McQueen met this Monday morning, in London, to pay him a tribute. A mass that began at 11o’clock on St.Paul’s Cathedral gathered Anna Wintour, Hamish Bowles, Sarah Jessica Parker, Suzy Menkes, Jonathan Akeroyd – CEO from the brand Alexander McQueen – and Philip Treacy. This time, the surprise was a special performance from Björk, who was dressed as an angel, sang the song "Gloomy Sunday" and brought everyone to tears.
* Only the closest friends of the designer were invited. For the ones who were present, there was also a presentation from The London Community Gospel Choir, that had the participation from the most well-known faces in the fashion industry, such as Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Both joined the choir to sing the songs "Amazing Grace" and "I Vow to Thee, My Country". Below, the pictures.
