People screaming, crying and an overdose of flashlights. Christina Aguilera’s entry at SPFW was a riot in itself. But after everyone took their seats, the singer posed for thousands of pictures and finally sat down to answer some questions.
* She talked about the new collection for C&A, her film “Burlesque,” which premieres in Brazilian theaters soon, and her relationship with fashion. "This is my first fast fashion campaign. It’s perfect for Brazilian women’s body. There’s lots of red – my trademark – and animal print.” And the line ranges from dresses to lingerie, from purses and belts to jeans.
* When asked about Brazilian fashion, she was very honest, "I’m very focused on this work, but unfortunately, I haven’t really have the opportunity to meet Brazilian designers." The singer also considers herself to be a tastemaker in fashion, and admitted that she likes to take chances when it comes to her looks – which anyone can see right away…
* About the movie she stars alongside singer Cher, Christina says it was a real challenge: "I had never danced like that before, and I also composed the tracks. It was my first job as an actress, but I want to do more." And good news for fans: She felt so welcomed in Brazil that she is considering doing a concert here. "You’ve inspired me," she said. We will hold her to that!
