Glamurama spoke to Christopher Bailey, creative director of Burberry Prorsum, about one of the most talked about topics backstage, at Kensington Gardens, in London Fashion Week: his show’s live streaming on a screen in Piccadilly Circus, one of the postcards of the city.
* He told us it was very exciting to broadcast, and at the same time, he felt privileged to be the first designer to do it in such a London trademark. "I like that fashion – and things related to fashion – is inclusive and welcoming. Social media is here to help us do that, welcome everyone who likes fashion, but isn’t necessarily a part of the industry," he said.
* For the show, a tent was pitched for the first time in Kensington Gardens. It was the only show that took place there during London Fashion Week. They dismantled it shortly after the show, while Bailey was giving interviews backstage.
