The world is watching in Salvador, especially during Carnival. On the last day of the party we ran into German filmmaker Lars Pfeiffer at Expresso 2222. He was filming a documentary about the city, which will be broadcast on German and French TVs. Lars began filming in February and will wrap up the film with images from Carnival.
* This is the first time he comes to Brazil and he’s finding the party in Bahia very interesting. For him, the best place to celebrate Carnival is in the Pelourinho. "There, everyone is real, the music is infectious and I enjoyed myself," he said, scratching his newly learned Portuguese.
