Oskar Metsavaht was the only Brazilian invited to attend the event "Bid to Save the Earth" organized by the NGO "Runaway to Green", known for raising funds for institutions that protect the environment, in partnership with Vogue U.S. and Christie’s, the traditional auction house, on Tuesday, at Rockefeller Center in New York.
* Participants included many big names in the fashion industry: Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Manolo Blahnik, Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg, to name a few, who have developed unique pieces or selected items from their latest collections especially for the event.
* Everything was showcased by tops such as Karolina Kurkova, Jessica Stam and Coco Rocha, and shortly thereafter auctioned. Part of the sales will be allocated to NGOs aimed at preserving the environment. Nice initiative, isn’t it?
* Lauren Santo Domingo – whose baby is de in three weeks – fashion designer Alexander Wang, Natalie Massenet and restaurateur Graydon Carter were there to support the cause.
