Stella McCartney: the British designer was chosen to design the official uniforms for all British athletes for the London Olympics, in 2012.

The success that is the partnership between Adidas and Stella McCartney has just led to some great news: the British designer was chosen to design the new official teams’ uniforms for all British athletes for the London Olympics, in 2012.  Chosen to design the Olympics and Paralympics athletes’ uniforms, the designer talked to “WWD” and said she is thrilled about it. “As a designer and also for being British I am honored to dress the competitors of our country”, told the designer.

* And the best of all is that she is designing clothes inspired by the uniforms like jackets, pants, shorts and accessories, so everyone can feel a little closer to the event. They will be available in January, 2011. They could come to Brazil but, anyway, it may take a little longer.
