Susan Boyle was banned by Lou Reed to sing the song "Perfect Day" in the latest "America’s Got Talent." The singer, who became a sensation after appearing in the British version of the show, was rehearsing the song with a choir of one hundred children. "Lou didn’t want Susan to sing a song composed by him, he is not very big fan of the singer," a source told the New York Post.

* According to the publication, Susan was very hurt by the ban. "It is very difficult to change the music in the last minute. She cried a lot and was forced to leave the show."

* The song "Perfect Day" was composed by Lou Reed in 1972 and is on the album Transformer. The song, one of Reed’s biggest, has been recorded by several artists like Duran Duran and Patti Smith. Representatives from Reed, Boyle and the NBC channel that transmits "America’s Got Talent" refused to comment on the case.
