It’s not only Gulfstream that’s interested in Brazil’s billionaires. France’s Airbus, the second largest aircraft manufacturer in the world, has appointed a special team of salespeople to cater to the wealthiest Brazilians, that group that doesn’t mind shelling out tens of millions of dollars for a faster and exclusive means of transport.
* Initially, Airbus will try to promote in the country the executive model ACJ318, whose list price is US$ 65 million – a bargain compared to other models of the manufacturer, such as the A380, which can cost up to US$ 400 million. Nowadays, there is only one model ACJ318 flying through Brazilian air, the very one used by President Dilma Rousseff on her domestic and international travels.
