Legendary photographer Marisa Alvarez Lima was one of our guests at the Joyce Pascowitch Magazine 5-year anniversary party in Rio this Sunday at Bar do Copa. Favorite of Maria Bethania, Caetano and a whole generation, Marisa began her career as a journalist in the magazine "O Cruzeiro" in the mid-1960s. From then, she made history with her compelling texts and images.
* And do you know what she told us? That she’s got a brand new book fresh from the oven. In this work she gathers her memories, pictures, and chronics, named "Uma Mulher em Chamas” (“A Woman on Fire"). "It’s almost an autobiography, since I sign the design," said Marisa.
