On Tuesday, Glamurama accepted the invitation of the Spanish brand Loewe to get to know its new male fragrance, Loewe 7, at the newly opened Clos de Tapas. We ended up finding out the plans of LVMH – the group it belongs – for Brazil. And they are great!

* For the launch, a large staff of LVMH out of Miami – the group’s basis of operation for Latin America – and landed in Sao Paulo to find a place for their menswear and womenswear clothing line. "In December, Lisa Montague, chief executive of the brand, was in Sao Paulo with an extra task: to find a space for Loewe’s first store in Brazil, which will have all the lines," said Renato Rabbat, director of LVMH perfumes and cosmetics division in Brazil.

* No luck, Lisa came back empty handed, but now it’s up to Renato find that ideal place. That can be either Iguatemi or Cidade Jardim shopping malls. They do know that they don’t want a street shop. Currently with 22 perfume outlets in Sao Paulo, Renato says they are going to keep it that way until the end of 2011, because they want to strengthen Loewe’s name in the domestic market, which requires time and investment to attract new customers.
