After five years waiting for “Heleno” to debut, Rodrigo Santoro – who is also the film’s producer – was ecstatic during the premiere in São Paulo, on Tuesday. For the actor, the story of the player is so rich that he can’t pick out just one event that marked it. "You could do a trilogy of his life. He’s a striking figure, at a time that didn’t have many records," he said.
* Santoro didn’t choose his favorite moment of Heleno, but he did say that what really draws attention to the player, in addition to him being a troublemaker, is his elegance. "You have to image that he was considered practically a prince. He was the first person to import a car. His taylor-made suits were always made out of British fabric. He was demanding," he said. Moreover, his hair never appeared unkempt. "Even when they entered the field, he had flawless hair. He was always careful with it. That’s what I’m most impressed," he said.
* The actor himself also has a strong bond with his hair, showing various cuts throughout his career. "When I was younger I wore it long, and I really liked it. Now I leave it shorter on account of the roles. An actor has to be ready, because the first thing they change is your hair when you have a new role" he said. Soon, Rodrigo will have to go shave his head again to play Xerxes in the sequel of the movie "300," which begins production very soon. Check out here who was at the premiere!
