After much speculation, it’s been confirmed: Paul McCartney will perform at Engenhão Stadium in Rio on May 22. The official announcement was made at a press conference this morning at the Fasano Hotel and soon after, Paul’s team posted the announcement on Twitter and Facebook, with a quotation from the man himself.
* "We had a great time in South America. The audiences know how to party and me and the band are looking forward to going back in May for some more rock n’ roll fun! We played three shows in Brazil last year. It was our first time there in some while and we had a blast. We are really looking forward to coming back,” said the former Beatle.
* Ticket sales start next Monday, the 11th, only to customers of a bank, then on the 14th, the sales will be open to all, on the Internet and at the Engenhão box office. If you want to ensure your ticket, better keep an eye out…
