Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen’s new creative-director, is probably with her nerves under her skin. She is just about to present the maison’s new woman’s collection, on October fifth, during Paris fashion week. On an interview to the website "WWD", Sarah spoke a little about the new pieces, which according to her, are more "Lightened" in contrast to the darker line of the designer.
* "There will always be the spirit and the essence from McQueen on the clothes. But, of course, I’m a woman and this makes this collection to have a more feminine point of view", said. Sarah has also said that doesn’t have any plans on bringing theatrical runway shows as Alexander used to. "This was his territory – a spectacular show. I can’t try to be like him", concluded the designer. Let’s wait and see!
