With more than 300 porcelain fragments held together by a silver string, the polo shirt below is not just a regular shirt. It is a sculpture that you can wear, made by Chinese Li Xiaofeng for a special edition of Lacoste’s iconic piece.
* With symbolical constructed drawings the artwork stands out the 2010 version of the project “Holiday Collector’s Series”. The piece will be displayed tomorrow at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, in Paris. In October the debut is going to take place in Beijing, at Red Gate Gallery.
* Besides that, the artist created prints from blue and white shattered pieces, printed in a twenty thousand edition of shirts for men and women. A hundred of them must be getting to their store in Oscar Freire Street in the second semester. Write it down so you don’t miss this chance!
