The movie “Clueless” has marked an era for many lulus. Alicia Silverstone, who played Cher, drove many young girls crazy in the 90’s with her wardrobe that turned with a remote control and her looks… Now, fashion designer Ilaria Urbinati, owner of Californian brand Confederacy, asked Francisco Costa, director of Calvin Klein, to recreate from the white minidress Cher wore underneath a see-through shirt in the feature.
* The best of all is that Francisco agreed to reissue the dress. And the business woman explains how she convinced him: “I re-enacted the entire scene for him. “Cher, what are you wearing?’ ‘A dress!’ ‘Says who?’ ‘Calvin Klein!’ ‘Well, go put something over it!’ ‘Oh, I was just going to!’ and then she comes out with the clear trench. So of course I said, Francisco, you need to remake that dress”. Now we just wait to see the result…
