If you checked Twitter on Wednesday morning, you must have realized that something was wrong. The thing is that the most popular account of the microblog had been hacked. We are talking about Lady Gaga’s profile, who has nearly 10 million followers and had her page invaded by messages in Spanish that linked back to a supposed banned video of the singer. But actually, when you clicked on it, you got directed to a shopping site.

* Gaga didn’t like the joke. "Whoever is hacking my Twitter will have to respond to ten millions of ‘little monsters’ [as she calls her fans] and the police," wrote Gaga. It’s no use looking for the messages in Spanish, as they have been properly deleted.
