Director Jorge Atalla Wolney Junior received, finally, the Silvio Santos’ authorization to shoot the film that tells the story of the entrepreneur. The two should meet soon with Guga de Oliveira, producer and screenwriter of the film, probably at Jassa room, to go over details.
*The film should start with the kidnapping of Silvio’s daughter, Patricia, and tell his story in flashback, showing the family’s history since the arrival of Silvio’s father, Alberto Abravanel, who fled from Greece to Brazil during the Second War. If it all goes well, casting auditions should begin in early 2012. In time, Jorge and Guga want a little known actor to play Silvio.
