Family heirlooms always have a special flavor, don’t they? Especially if you are Elettra Wiedemann, daughter of Isabella Rossellini and granddaughter of Ingrid Bergman. Recently, they found a chest full of clothes and Elettra got two dresses that previously belonged to Ingrid, which she kept away and never spared a second glance.

* When the model learned she would be invited to the Vogue U.S. ball at the Met in New York, she decided she would wear one of the pieces, and to help her print her spirit in the number, she called designer Prabal Gurung. The changes were not very subtle, the dress used to be long long but now is short in the front with a long tail and reapplied embroidery. Elettra explained that it is a tribute to her grandmother because it is "the same dress just a little sexier and younger." Which version do you prefer, glamurette?
